Of Treesdale, formerly of Green Tree, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. William M. Lowry "Bill" retired CEO of Highmark, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017. Bill is survived by his wife, Marie (Jennings) of 57 years; and three children, Michael (Jolene), Karen (Jack) Karasinski, and William (Angela); and nine grandchildren, John, Joseph, Nicholas, Samantha, Hope, Emma, Kathryn, Jacob, and Mia; also survived by his sister, Marianne Scharbo-DeHaan; and two sisters-in-law, LaVerne (Jim) Jennings and Eileen (Sidney) Welshonse; also many nieces and nephews. Friends welcome Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday 2-8 p.m. at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 15220, (412-563-2800). Mass of Christian Burial in SS. John and Paul Catholic Church, 2586 Wexford-Bayne Rd., Franklin Park, 15143, on Wednesday at 10 a.m. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH).
