William A. Brown, of Beltzhoover, known as Billy to many, passed on October 26, surrounded by family at his bedside at the age of 87. He joins his late parents, Alice Nelson and William A. Brown; foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hill; brother, Donald Hudson (Connie); and children, Jeffrey and Sheila. He is survived by his loving wife, Lota of 67 years; daughters, Beverly and Pamela (Ezell); grandchildren, Beverly, Robert, Jeremiah, Justin, Jennifer, David and Alicia; great-granddaughters, Brittney and Jasmine; and many great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Billy was born and raised in Hill District, a Korean War Veteran and a member of the United Steelworker Union. He loved being a family man, carpentry and sports. Family and friends welcome Monday, 12 noon- 1 p.m. at WM. SLATER & SONS, INC., (412-381-3345), 301 Virginia Ave, Mt.
