Marlene A. (Archer) Mastandrea

Age 71 of Girard Ohio

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Marlene went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

Beloved and devoted wife of Charles (Chick) Mastandrea. Proud stepmother of Lauri (the late Marty) Napolitano and Dana L Brazell.

Loving grandmother of Marisa Ashley and Marco Martin Napolitano, and Mikelle Isabella and Alexis Brazell.

She is also survived by many brothers in laws, sisters in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Marlene will also be missed by numerous friends.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Louise Matvey. Also daughter-in-law of the late Carmen and late Mary Mastandrea.

Sister-in-law of late Joe and late Grace Mastandrea, Mark and late Carmen Mastandrea,
Grace and late Jerry Smallhoover, Mella and late Henry Luciano, late Tony Mastandrea, Lenny and late MaryAnn Mastandrea, Steve and Verda Mastandrea, Patty and Ed Babinecz, Joan and Rick Stambrosky and the late Patrick and late Richard Mastandrea.

Marlene had a 32 year career working in Logistics and Customer Service at LTV Steel Company. She also worked as the Medical Air Transport Coordinator at Wings of Hope in Chesterfield, MO, arranging transport for patients, from and to various hospitals.

Her favorite past times were reading, doing puzzles, playing cards and cheering on the Steelers.

Marlene was a gentle soul with the most loving, caring and giving heart. She cherished being with her grandchildren, planning parties, playing cards and being with friends. Marlene was very creative, always making cards for everyone with lots of love and stickers and that personal touch. Marlene always wanted everyone to feel special. She was a gem of gems.

Marlene is now free of pain. She will be so sadly missed by family and friends.
