Joe, age 89, of Robinson Township, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, with his family at his side. Beloved husband of 57 years to Dolores (Fratangelo); dear father of Anna, John (Mary), Michael (Diane), Dolores Ann (Mark) and William (Sharon); grandfather of Nick (Rebecca), Justin (Laura), Joseph, William (Amber), Gabriel; and great-grandfather of Grace and Nico. Joe is also survived by his sisters, Rose Suter and Josephine Bonomo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Joe was lovingly cared for during his final years by Melanie, Nicole, Linda, Mary Ann, and Mary Beth. He was born on May 20, 1928, in Sheridan, of John and Anna Bianco. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia and brother, Mike.
A graduate of Langley High School, he was a US Marine and a veteran of the Korean War. He was an active member of Holy Trinity Church, where he served as a lectern for many years. Prominent in the state and local Democrat Party, Joe served as a Robinson Township commissioner. He worked in the concrete industry, as a driver and dispatcher for Highway Products, in sales for Dravo Corporation and Beaver Valley Builder Supply, and retired as a consultant to Management Engineering Corporation. His legacy to his family was to work hard and play hard: but only in that order.
