Condolence & Memory Journal

To the entire Contis family, I am so sorry for your loss. The Contis' I remember well, as neighbour and babysitter; John's kindness and generosity is remembered to this day. My deepest condolences.

I am so grateful to have been able to spend many wonderful times in the Contis house throughout my teen and college years. Chrissie has always been the most amazing friend, and that in and of itself is special. What is evident though, is truly how important family is to the Contis family, and how John was key in making that so. I always felt welcome and a part of the family anytime we were together. John was always a light in their household, and that light continues through each of his family members today. My deepest sympathies are with you in this time. I send my love and prayers for you all.

My first memory of Uncle John was at his wedding to my Aunt. I just thought they were the hippest couple. I had never seen anyone with such beautiful eyes. He has been such a example of what a husband, father, grandfather and of course uncle should be. It was always so much fun watching him go about and making sure everyone was ok. I will miss you uncle.

In the end it's not the years of your life that counts, it's the life in years that counts..Thinking of you all.
