Condolence & Memory Journal

It is very troubling that the current situation does not permit us to be there with the rest of the family to honor Aunt Clara. Such a remarkable person who always had a smile and a true warmth that everyone could enjoy. Her wit never ceased to amaze us.We would leave our visits feeling so good knowing that she was happy. She will be missed but never ever forgotten. Rest in peace great lady!

My condolences to the loving family and friends of Clara an exceptional woman. I was fortunate to meet Aunt Clara' through Karen, her niece, and Stacy. I'm forever grateful as I came to know her fine qualities: her untamed zest for life, her confidence, intelligence, fun nature and especially her compassion and charity. Although separated by thousands of miles, I like to think we became late-in-life friends. When terrible bushfires scorched Australia in January 2020, Clara dug deep and donated generously to save the koalas on Kangaroo Island a natural haven for many unique animals. Clara's goodness and decency will live on. I shall remember her fondly. It was a privilege to know her, talk with her and enjoy her laughter. Diane in Australia

My parents, Ann and Al Bernhardy, who passed away in 2013 were long time next door neighbors of Clara and Bill and spoke of then often. Please accept my condolences on your loss and my prayers for all.
