Tribute & Message From The Family

Age 29, of Pittsburgh, peacefully passed away on October 24, 2020 surrounded by his family. He went home to be with the Lord after a long battle against a terminal illness from cancer treatments.

Randy was a loving husband to Stacy Gestrich (Beaver), and son of Pastor Mike and Carol Gestrich.

He is survived by his wife, parents, siblings Bill (Deb), Tony (Devan), Carol Lynn Cohen (Noah), Scott (Catherine), Chris (Renee) and nieces and nephews.

Randy was predeceased by his older brother Mikey in 2004.

Randy beat an aggressive cancer diagnosis in 2006. By faith, he served God despite his chronic illnesses resulting from his treatment complications.

As a lay minister, Randy was well-known for his gift of generosity through loving others, giving financially, and serving those in need.

He created a video series — Unmasked Survivor — designed to minister to those with chronic illness.

Because of his illness, Randy ran a small rental business to help support his family. He also created a successful business buying craft supplies from outside the country and reselling online. By his mid-20s, as a business and home owner, he became absolutely debt free. Viewing and services will be private. William Slater II Funeral Service, Scott Twp, entrusted with all arrangements. www.slaterfuneral.com

Servant of God, well done!
Thy glorious warfare's past;
The battle's fought, the race is won,
And thou art crowned at last.
