Sandra (Garman) Meili Obituary

Sandra Meili (nee Garman) died peacefully on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Friendship Village Health Care Center in Upper St. Clair. Sandy was born on July 25, 1932. She grew up in Mt. Lebanon and graduated from Duquesne University. She then taught kindergarten in Peters Township for over thirty years. She was a devout member of the St. John Capistran Church in Upper St. Clair. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Jacob (Jack) Meili. She is survived by her three stepchildren, William Meili (Karen), Stephen Meili (Leigh Payne), and Trisha Meili (Jim Schwarz), and their four children and two grandchildren. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at St. John Capistran Church, Resurrection Parish in Upper St. Clair. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sandy's name to Catholic Charities. Sandy wished that her loved ones not grieve her passing but feel her joy in being reunited with God.
