David Y. Henry Obituary

Dave was the big brother that I never had, I have known him since 1999 when I started working with him at Baker. I recently returned to Baker after a few years away. Dave was the big brother that I never had, I have known him since 1999 when I started working with him at Baker. I recently returned to Baker after a few years away. Dave sent me a dancing Chris Farley video to show his reaction when I told him. I was so excited to get to work and hang out with him again! Fate is cruel and we never got to sit in the office together again. Over the years, Dave was my confidante, my partner in crime, my lunch buddy, and my best friend. He could always make me laugh, he had nicknames for a lot of people in the office and to this day, I only know some of them by those nicknames. He loved his family and friends so much, he told me stories often. I don't know how we will go on without him. I could always count on him to make me laugh. We would fill out our Christmas raffle tickets every year together at work and drop them in the boxes, then we would take guesses on which manager would win the most! One thing is for sure, my world will be dark and dull without him. I hope that Dave knew how much he meant to me and how much we all loved him! I will miss him forever, there will never be anyone like him!

I worked with Dave at Michael Baker for almost 13 years. He was an integral part of our team and a tremendously hard worker. He was super smart, very funny and completely competent - it was a pleasure to work with him. He could be demanding and didn't take any crap - so he made us all better at what we did. Dave was also my friend. His passing is such a shock and my deepest sympathies go out to his family and his other friends. We will all miss him terribly.

I am so sorry to hear of Dave's passing, and my deepest sympathy to his family. I've known Dave for all the years that he's worked at Michael Baker. In fact, I helped train him when he first started. Dave and I have had many conversations about shooting and hunting, and our camps aren't too far away from each other in Tionesta. Dave always had a quick wit, and made me laugh. I will miss him.

Dave grew up one street over and was part of the our neighborhood group. I'm incredibly sad to hear of his untimely passing and my prayers and condolences go out to the family Dave leaves behind.
