Memories & Candles
Many wonderful memories working with Eleanor at WQED. Not to mention, Eleanor's beloved Jack and I worked together on the Bench Bar anniversary video.
We had many mutual friends and Eleanor had legendary status here in Pittsburgh. It was a privilege to have worked with her and known her. Sympathies to all family and friends.

My sympathies on this loss for the Pittsburgh community. Eleanor created a path for so many women in broadcasting and the professional workplace. She was smart, hard working, fun loving and absolutely beautiful inside and out. Her faithfulness to her friends and family was surpassed by none. You will be missed dear friend

She was as personable and engaging as I would have imagined from her public persona. I treasure the copy of her autobiography that she so generously inscribed and sent us. Be assured of my prayers for her and her family.
